Boogies are environmentally-friendly souvenirs, made from safe and sustainable products. Most souvenirs are made from plastic, PVC and petroleum based products. By producing a range of eco-friendly souvenirs we want people to change direction in their purchasing habits and decision-making. We believe that we need speedier action towards the environment because it’s not like we have time to sit around and wait.

We are designed so that after use you cut off and recycle metal lanyard bit. Then throw me in your compost or worm bin and I will decompose back to nature.

We are hand-made and come in a range of four colours. Each of us has a different personality, so you get to choose which one you like the best.

Our skin is made from cotton using safe and non toxic dyes to give us our colours. Our features are embroidered. Some of us also use a small amount of water based glue and felt for our features.

We are stuffed with plantation based unbleached Bamboo Fibre. Bamboo is native to China and the bamboo plant is very quick growing and does not require the use of pesticides and herbicides to thrive. As a result, plantations can easily be kept organic and replanted yearly to replenish stocks. The process of making unbleached bamboo fibre is very light on chemicals that could potentially harm the environment.

Our short chain lanyard is used to connect us to your bag, keys, phone or car. It is made from non-lead metal and can be cut off and placed in your recycle bin to be recycled when you have finished with us.

The swing tag is plastic, but it is made from recycled plastic bottles (PET), so it is other people's waste, and should also be thrown in the recycle bin when you are finished with it. Our other swing tag is made from card.

Our back-end business operations have the environment at the forefront. For example, we work from a home environment, we recycle whatever we can and we live a healthy lifestyle.

Boogies are designed in Australia, and made in China. That involves transport from factory, to warehouse, and then to where you have purchased me, so we have offset these carbon emissions by planting native trees in Australia.
