What's new?

The What's new? section [ link to shop in US$ ] of our online shop is really worth a visit at the moment because we have recently stocked our shelves with a number of exciting and beautiful new products. Many of these items belong to the new Homeware Timber Art [ shop in American Dollars ] category of products.  

 

All additions to our Homeware Timber Art [ shop in US$ ] range have been hand-painted by Australian Aboriginal artists. They include figurines of kangaroos and crocodiles, large wooden vases [ shop in US$ ] and display spoons with a hole in the handle to attach a string for hanging on the kitchen wall or in the hall.

 

Another newly-welcomed ornamental piece for the kitchen or dining area is the 33cm-long coolamon [ shop in US$ ]. This is a very attractive Aboriginal digging / carrying bowl featuring contemporary Aboriginal art. The popular and colourful wooden trinket boxes [ shop in American $ ] in this range are now back in stock.

 

There is a very bright new set of six Aboriginal art designs now featured on placemats, drink coasters and the 12-piece tableware set [ shop in US$ ].  This thematic design collection is known as "Outback Wanderers". These beautiful designs are printed from the original paintings by the renowned Aboriginal artist, Vicki Skeen.

 

In the Tote Bags and Purses [ link to shop in US$ ] category, there are two additional offerings. One is the Aussie koala backpack for kids and the other is the tote bag with the print of the skyline of the city of Brisbane. The product name for this waterproof bag is "Aussie Tote Bag with Artistic Print of "Australian City Skylines" - City: Brisbane" [ shop in American $ ]. It is designed in Australia as part of a forthcoming series of iconic mementos of Aussie cities by the Australian artist, Janet Vandenberg.

Created in conjunction with the expert palaeontologists and talented publications staff at the Queensland Museum, Steve Parish Publishing's Amazing Facts About Australian Dinosaurs [ shop in US$ ] is an award-winning Aussie book which we now have available at a 25% discount, while present stocks last. Within the next two to three weeks, we will be re-stocking several other popular Aussie facts books and coffee table books which have recently sold out.

 

Our final super specials on offer at a 25% discount [ shop in American $ ] are the modern Aboriginal art prints [ link to shop in US$ ] in a series of four by the famous South Australian Indigenous artist, Susan Betts. One of her many claims to fame is the fact that she was the artist responsible for the stunning Aboriginal art featured on a giant Coca-Cola bottle in the Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta, Georgia.
